私たちが、ヒト表情をまねて作った人造人間の顔の「不気味の谷」や、AIという名のフィクションが語る「幻想」に共通するものがある。それは既存のAIに横たわる「ヒト常識への無理解」である。彼らには、文字を教えてもその運筆を教えなかったし、画像の識別法を教えても、位相空間上の運動感覚体験を教えなかった。そして画像や音響や他の感覚を教え、それらの統合を図っても、それを取り巻く摩擦や衝突や隠蔽をはじめとする光と影の物理的背景、母から抱擁される愛情と真の痛みを教えていなかったからだ。
